Kuan

Founder and product engineer.

I build, operate, and license products through Thinking Systems, and develop software with clients through Prodmake.

About

The common thread is simple: make the software useful to the people using it, then keep it working after launch.

Sometimes that starts with a rough idea. Sometimes it means working around old systems, unreliable networks, or operational constraints. My work has included Kazakhstan’s national e-government, maritime safety in Denmark, and enterprise products in Canada and the US. I also write about small-company economics, borders and institutions, attention, and the mechanics of an independent life.
